ABOUT US

Racetune was founded in 2001 in Daly City, California at a 1000 sq ft facility. Soon after opening, our reputation demanded more space. We then moved to another facility expanding out to 2000 sq ft. With the larger space, our reputation grew even more and once again, we were packing our equipment. Today, Racetune now has a 5,000 sq ft facility located in the heart of Hayward, California.

Racetune Engineering is headed by Frank Siharath, a licensed ASE Master Technician. Frank worked at a famous BMW racing and research facility in Mountain View, California. There he did various services such as superchargers, racecar suspension/alignment tuning and high performance services/repair. Then he moved to another fast paced shop also located in Mountain View where he worked on turbo diesel engines and automotive diagnostics and repair. To take a break, he worked at a small shop located closer to his home where he serviced import cars for a short period of time. After this short break, he returned to work in Mountain View servicing domestic race cars; further improving his skills in carburetor calibrating and custom jetting. Few years pass and he moves on again to a research and development shop located in San Ramon, California. Utilizing a Dynojet 248C, he built and tested parts such as prototype intercoolers and worked with different piping diameter, lengths and bends to see what produced the most power. Finally, after many years of learning a wide variety of vehicles and applications Racetune was born.
